The Pepperell Community Garden is more than a place to grow vegetables — it’s a small but meaningful act against climate change. Located behind the Fitzpatrick Collaborative at 45 Main Street, it’s where neighbors come together to build a greener, more resilient town.
Community gardens reduce food miles, cut packaging waste, build carbon-sequestering soil, and lower the urban heat island effect. Every plot planted here is a small vote for a cooler, healthier planet.
This is the pilot year of the Pepperell Community Garden, and it’s a true community project — gardeners are needed not just to grow, but to help prepare plots and build out the shared infrastructure. Your participation shapes what this becomes.
All members commit to roughly 8 hours of service per year toward upkeep — weeding common areas, helping with setup, and keeping the space welcoming for everyone.
